1) N =6 or a multiple of 6 so that n^2/36 is Integer

2) 144/n^2...could be 2^2. and 2 not a factor of 3.

(1) number must be a multiple of 36 to be an integer ie 72, 108 etc. and all multiples are also divisible by 3. SUFFICIENT

(2) there are many numbers which can divide into 144 to create an integer ie 2, 4, 6. some of these number are divisible by 3, but other are not. INSUFFICIENT.
