Question:

If k is a positive integer and the tens digit of k+5 is 4, what is the tens digit of k?

1) k> 35

2) the units digit of k is greater than 5

Tens digit is 4
Range of K -> 35 to 44 both inclusive

1. K> 35. It can be between 35 to 44. So not helpful
2. the units digit of k is greater than 5
K's units digit can be from 5 to 9 only if tens digit is 3

So tens digit is 3

IMO B. Whats the OA?

2.Answer is A.

1.You get 1.7 service errors in Division A per 100 customers. so 3-1.7 is the customer errors per 100 customers in division B.
Sufficient.

2. You get no info from 2 about the errors in dividion B.
Not Suffiecient.
