source: OG 12 th edition,Q.No 129, page no 284
Q:What is the median number of employees assigned per project for the projects at company Z ?
1) 25 percent of the projects at company Z have 4 or more employees assigned to each project.
2) 35 percent of the projects at company Z have 2 or fewer employees assigned to each project.

my Doubt: in the answer explanation the author explained that the answer is "C" because the median of employees will be 3. on what basis did the author came to that conclusion as 3 is mentioned neither in the question nor in the statements. I didn't understand. anyone please explain

Here's what I did:

Try visualizing it on a number line. So statement 1 says > or equal to 4. Statement 2 says < or equal to 2. The remaining 40% people must have some project, right? The only remaining integer is 3. (We can't have 3.5 project!)

Hope this helps.
