Median

What is the median value of the set R, if for every term in the set,
R (nth term) = R(n–1 th term) + 3?

(1) The first term of set R is 15.

(2) The mean of set R is 36.

Ans is D

(A) is sufficient as we compute the complete series and then the median
(B) in an equally distributed set median = mean so sufficient

I think the answer is B because in (a) we need to now "n" in order to know the median.

(a)For instance: 15, 18, 21 -> median=18 and 15,18,21,24,27 -> median 21.

(b) mean 36 then n=1, R=(36)->median 36; n=3, R=(33,36,39) median 36; n=5, R=(31, 33, 36,39,42)-> median 36

my bad, you are right A is not sufficient only B is sufficient.
