I have a circle with a square inside. The side of the square = 2
Everything is shaded. How do I get the area of the shaded region?

I know that the area of the square is 4 but how do I get the area of the circle?

Diagonal of the square is always side X square root of 2. So diagonal is 2square root of 2. Divided by 2 gives root of 2, so the area is 2 PI.
