So a few years ago, I took the actual GMAT, got 550 then 600 without too much studying. In fact, I was so depressed about life, I didn't care about the test. I lost my job, didn't have anywhere to go, no family, no place to live. It was just bad. Anyways,......

Now, I decided to retake. Before I studied anything, my prep was 600. Ok, GMAT is very accurate. So, this time I studied, studied, and did various practice tests, and got 600-700. Great, I'll go take the test. So I did, and I got a 470. Wow. I also have to mention, the practice tests werent taken over and over.

Not even sure what happened. I slept well, ate well, took breaks, all that stuff...I wasn't nervous. Not sure how two actuals can have 100+pts difference.

I give up. if I were to take it again, I'm not studying it. This is not a test for me to study, apparently.
