are those answers right? ps. are they gmatprep practice exam questions? or are they mgmat?
i got utterly defeated by the gmat.

The answer choice chosen is incorrect.

I had guessed at that answer, as I did not know how to do it.

Upon trying this problem later, I was able to prove statement #2, but unable to prove Statement #1.

The correct answer choice is D.

think might have came up with something

there is a semi circle, therefore it is 180 degrees
angle COD is 60, therefore, angle AOC has to be 120.

Since Oc = BO = AB are equal (radius)
angle BAO = angle BCO

im not sure if this is right
i got utterly defeated by the gmat.

Even if angle BAO = angle BCO, given statement 2 alone. You do not know the degree of BCO do you?
