(sqrt 9+ sqrt 80 + sqrt 9 -sqrt 80) ^2

=20

That is incorrect. Can you put this in the context of a question?

Thats not possible...if it's the way I read it in your question the answer will be 36 and not 20...can you scan and upload the exact question?
