Let number of tables be n

5C2 * nC2 = 150
10 * nC2 = 150

nC2 = 15

n*(n-1) / 2 = 15
n = 6

Is it A?

5C2 * xC2 = 150
10 * xC2 = 150
xC2 = 15
x*(x-1)*(x-2)! / 2! * (x-2)! = 15
x*x-1 = 15*2!
x*x-1 = 30
Thus x = 6

The Answer is 6

No. of Chairs= 5C2 = 10
No. of Tables = xC2 =

Total = 10 *xC2 =150
====> 10 *15 =150
====> xC2 = 15
Put x = 6
which is 6C2 = 15

Hence 6 is the Correct Answer
