DS Question on Integers

by Azntycoon » Mon Jul 28, 2008 5:17 pm
Apologies if this is a 2x post, but I did try to search for this question first.

If N is a positive integer, is the units digit of N equal to zero?

(1) 14 and 35 are factors of N
(2) N = (2^5)(3^2)(5^7)(7^6)

The official answer is D (Each alone is sufficient).

I tried to work this out, and I just want some clarification from anyone as to whether it is possible for the two statements above to give you different answers?

thanks

A )when you multiply 14 and 35 you will get unit digit 0 and what ever you mutliply later you will get zero.

B) you can easily get unit digit from this one.

Both are sufficient.

Anyway question asks yes or no which you can answer.
