in 5 hrs distance travelled= 5* 50= 250 miles
now every 30 miles 1 gallon is used; hence no. of gallons used now = 250/30

required fraction = 250/(30*12)= 25/36

hence E

Distance = speed * time
Distance = 50 miles
Time = 5 hours
Distance traveled by car per hour = 5 * 50 = 250 miles
So, the care will use 250/30 = 25/3 gallons of gasoline.
Gasoline used/full tank = (25/3)/12 =
25/36
The correct answer is E.
