I find these type of inequality problems difficult and the reason is because there is no set problem solving method for such types. you can try by picking numbers but again its subject to the fact that the values you pick give you the answer.

for x=1, y=2 and z=2 you get a yes and for x=2, y=3 and z= sq rt 12 you will get a no.

similarly you can try for statement 2

Hence the answer will be E.
