given that: n<0 and n^2 < 1/100

=> n^2 - 1/100 < 0
=> (n - 1/10)(n + 1/10) < 0
=> -1/10 < n < 1/10
but as n<0
=> -1/10 < n < 0

divide all through by n (as n is -ve inequality sign will change) => -1/10n > 1 > 0

or -1/10n > 1
=> -1/n > 10
or 1/n < -10

hence the option A
