Rashmi,
Always hide the correct answer using spoiler option available in the tab.
Rate of liver cancers increased.
Rats exposed to substance Aflatoxin tends to develop cancer when fed caesin, milk protein.
We know that islanders received powdered milk[which contain milk protein].But how do these islanders get exposed to substance alfotoxin?
option A answers this.Peanuts support a mold growth that produces alfotoxin. So these people exposed to alfotoxin and when fed with milk protein, they develop liver cancer

I was not aware of this option, i will take care of it in future, i have a doubt it could also be possible that aflatoxin when reacted with some other milk protein ( present in milk) does not give this reaction? In that case this finding will also not be valid. Can you pl explain

Rashmi,
The result of experiment is that rats exposed to aflotoxin and fed with milk protein develop liver cancer.
We know that people are drinking powdered milk. But when exposed to aflotoxin only and taking the milk trigger the cancer. So how do these people got exposed to alfotoxin?Option A explains this.Peanuts produces alfotoxin so that the people got exposed to this and when fed with protein get affected with cancer.
Now according to ur statement there may be some other protein in milk which reacts with alfotoxin to trigger the reaction..However how we do know that these people got exposed to alfotoxin?we don't know about this.Even tough there is other protein but also we are not sure about the presence of alfotoxin in island. So this does not provides support to the experiment result.
Hope this clarify!!!
