I don't recall if GMAC released the score information, but the number of GMAT test takers of Indian descent, if I recall correctly, is somewhere around 40,000 in 2009.

Search on MBA.com for the PDF file. I tried to do it the other day and gave up.

I am not an indian ...
but i read article somewhere backed by the article from one newspaper that around 75000 students took gmat which was less than 85000 chinese who took gmat...in recent years...

About avergae score i think latest data are not availabe....may be there was some pdf file with the data of 2005....you can google it
GMAT score is equally counted as your GPA and 78 clicks can change you life.
