Stmt 1: Can be greater than 0 only when k has values greater than 1 (i.e. 3/2, 2, 3, ....). So, yes from this statement we can say that 1/k>0. Sufficient.

Stmt 2: K can have a value of (for ex) -1/2 or 2. If k = -1/2, 1/k < 0. If k = 2, 1/k>0. So, clearly this stmt is insufficient to answer the question.

When 1/k-1> 0

The value of K has to be always greater than 1 for the relation to be valid.

And since K>1
So 1/K is a positive fraction.So 1/K>0

Suff

B)

1/k+1>o

Look carefully this statement.Even If you put the value of K to be either 0 or suppose K=-0.4
This statement remains valid but

1/K> 0 is no more valid.

This is a very simple way of understanding
Insuff
