Writing this post to seek guidance from the Experts and Fellow Gmat-ers on the 2-month long ambitious study plan. After sifting through various posts and inspiration stories - here's how I am planning to destroy the GMAT.
Target Score = 740+
The Day = July 10th (9 weeks to go)
Time spent per week = 30 hours
Starting - NOW!
Strength: Or should I say acquired strength is in SC, with Manhattan SC and OG13 up my sleeve.
Weakness: 560 in the first Manhattan Mock Test left me nervous and disappointed. With an ambitious target of 740+, I do realize that I have a very long way to go. Therefore, putting together a robust plan for the next 9 weeks - wherein I hope to work on well everything - concepts and speed, both of which need a lot of hard work.
Week 1
Finish Manhattan Number Properties, Geometry and Word Problems along with the corresponding OG13 questions
Solve the remaining PS and DS questions in OG13
14 RCs (2 a day); 10 SC questions a day
Warming up with Powerscore CR Bible (stretch goal)
Week 2
Manhattan Advanced
Concept building and practice for Inequalities
Complete Powerscore CR Bible along with OG13
14 RCs (2 a day); 10 SC questions a day
Test - Manhattan 2
Week3
Completion of OG13 CR and RC (Hope to finish OG in entirety)
Jamboree Blue Book which has 700-800 level questions
14 RCs (2 a day); 10 SC questions a day
Test - GMAT prep
Week 4
Finish Jamboree Blue Book
Topic wise revision of all Quant concepts (3 topics a day)
14 RCs (2 a day); 10 SC questions a day
Test - Manhattan 3
Week 5
SC Grail practice questions
OG Quant review/ Kaplan 800
14 RCs (2 a day)
Test - Manhattan 4
Week 6
CR Grail practice questions
Kaplan 800
Gmat prep question bank
Test - Manhattan 5
Week 7
Re-doing OG 13 and revising hard questions from Kaplan/Jamboree
Week 8
3 Tests (Gmat prep + Manhattan)
Week 9
3-4 Tests (redoing GMAT preps)
Looking forward to hearing from you !
