Hi all,

I have this dilemma that I'm extremely stressed out about. It would fantastic if anyone can offer me some advice or study tips. Thanks in advance!

I've recently took the GMAT for the second time..and unfortunately I've scored a 590. Prior to the actual exam, I've taken 6 practice exams, each in lower 700s/ upper 600s range and around 710 on both of the official tests, administrated by mba.com

What exactly happened on test day? I didn't feel like the material was harder but the score shocked me. I've never scored this low before....

I still have strong ambitions to retake the exam as I definitely want to go to business school. However, I'm a little worn out as I'm not sure what has happened. Do you think it's because of exam anxiety and this is a true outlier? But the big difference in scoring is really daunting! Additionally, with the new GMAT rolling out, do you think I should cram another month of hardcore studying or take it slow and give myself another 2 months? I definitely feel that the longer I wait, the worse? Additionally, can anyone give me a perspective in terms how many times one can take the GMAT before it looks really terrible? My verbal score was 25, which is 10 points lower than where I normally score.

Thank you all for your help and time! I sincerely appreciate any advice/ suggestions in terms of what I should do and study plan going forward.

i retook the gmat this afternoon and to my surprise... the score was 530(q45, v19), which i can't imagine to the wildest dreams. my prep tests are over 600
for me, i didn't include awa during prep test, i guess that's the killer...

anyway, all the best to you. i'm plannin to retake again and be more prepared :)
