If the patterns predicted by climate models are correct about melting glaciers, by the year 2025 the tides around Greenland's east coast will rise to a level more than two feet higher than were those in 2000, according to the Arctic Climate Impact Assessment's 1990 report.
A)will rise to a level more than two feet higher than were those
B)will rise to a level more than two feet higher than that
C)would rise to a level more than two feet higher than it was
D)would rise to a level more than two feet higher than those
E)would rise to a level more than two feet higher than they were
OA [spoiler]B. Why not use "would" ? I know there is a prediction, but this conditional and not confirmed, so why use will ? Can you guys clear this "would" vs "will" issue.
