Stmt I

Let x be the apples 2
Let y be bananas 5

Let k be the apples added and m be the bananas added

x+k / y+m = 1/2 and k=2/3m

2+k / 5+m = 1/2

4+2K = 5+M
4+2K = 5+3/2K

We can find k and then m One definite answer

Stmt II

A total of 5 apples and bananas were added. It has to be 2 apples and 3 bananas
so that number of apples added is 2/3rd of bananas and the final ratio comes to 1/2
