GMAT PREP I #22

by pkw209 » Thu Dec 10, 2009 5:48 pm
Hi all,

Was wondering what the best approach to figuring out this one is other than knowing the approx. values of each. thanks!

If m=sqrt(4) + Cube root (4) + quad root(4) (aka 4 ^ 1/4), then the value of m is:

1) less than 3

2) equal to 3

3) between 3 and 4

4) equal to 4

5) greater than 4

Sq rt 4 is 2

Cube rt 4 is greater than 1

Quad rt 4 is greater than 1

Add them to get greater than 1
