Guys, here is the real question, from MGMAT
Three musical notes have frequencies x, y, and z, respectively. If x, y, and z are positive, x/y = y/z, and 2x = z, what is y in terms of x?
x/y = y/z
xz = y^2

2x=z

x*2x = y^2 = 2x^2

y = sqrt (2x^2) = x*sqrt2.

Thus, B is the answer.
