{A} - INCORRECT; Meaning issue- the noun "the ability" seems to show that he has claimed "the ability" .....something like I claimed the prize
{B} - INCORRECT; "ability of" idiom issue
{C} - INCORRECT; Meaning issue -the noun "the ability" seems to show that he has claimed "the ability" .....something like I claimed the prize; idiom "ability of"
