If m=9/25, w=15/32, and m+w+c=1, which of the following gives the values of m, w, and c in increasing order?

A. c, m, w
B. c, w, m
C. m, w, c
D. w, c, m
E. w, m, c

Please explain....

Find a common denominator. I used 800 (25*32). When you multiply those out it gives us m=288/800 and w=375/800. Add those together and you get 663/800. That means c must equal 137/800. Now it's very easy to sort those ...

c, m, w

There may be a faster way, but this only took a minute.

I'll say w is near about 50%
m is greater that 33%%
c, can be near bout 17% only

since the difference is not close, we dont need to solve anything.

clearly c,m,w is the correct option for me
