What is a good first time GMAT base score?

What is a good first time GMAT base score?

Let's assume that a 700+ score is desired. Given you have not studied nor looked at any GMAT prep material. For the GMATprep or MGMAT exams, what would a good first-time base score be?

I don't think it's really important to think about this. Have you taken the GMATPrep test already? Focus on your own personal performance first.

If I had to throw out a number, some score in the 600s might be a good ballpark start.

Don't focus any energy on this. Just do some review (strategy, practice questions), then take a practice test. It's not worth taking a test until you have a feel for what to expect, though. You'll waste a test.
