The area of the square is 16. So we know that each side of the square is 4.

Now, we need to find the length of the diagonal of the square.

The diagonal of the square will equal the diameter of the circle.

So diagonal of the square will be 4sqrt2 (the diagonal of a square is side of square x sqrt2).

The radius will be:

4sqrt2/2 = 2sqrt2

Area of the circle = 2sqrt2^2 (pi) = 8pi
