I AM UNABLE TO UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OPTION D AND E.
JUST THAT THEY HAVE CHANGED THE VARIABLE
to me it means that if one is odd, than other is even???

D) If n is even, then k is odd
E) If n is odd, then k is even

D says when n is even, then k is odd.
Let's assume n=20 or any other even number then k can be any even or odd.

E says when n is odd, then k is even
If n is odd, then K has to be even becoz odd*odd=odd. You can never get 400 result.

Hope that helps.......

Thanks

I was reading too much from D
and had taken both the meanings of D and E included in D
