For the past 50 years, due to changes in lifestyle and recreational activities, the population of the United States has become increasingly kyphotic, displaying poor posture and spine curvature, and it will probably have what is estimated as 100 million people with back problems next year, more than any other nation in the world will.

A it will probably have what is estimated as
B they are likely to have
C the country will probably have
D there will probably be
E there will be an estimated

IMO C

A - it can only refer to the population of USA. The population will have 100 million people? Incorrect. Population cannot have anything.

B - no antecedent of they

C - Correct.
The key to the answer is in the non underlined portion of the sentence - more than any other nation. The only logical comparison can be with another country. C says - the country (i.e. US) will probably have 100 million people ..., more than any other nation in the world will (have). Correct comparison and correct parallelism.

D - Breaks the comparison and parallelism explained above.

E - Breaks the comparison and parallelism explained above.

One more for C - "the country" is correctly compared to "more than any other nation". Also they and it (in A and B) create ambiguity.
Being defeated is often only a temporary condition. Giving up is what makes it permanent.

By stating in C 'the country will probably have' , option eliminates confusion that can be observed in other options regarding pronoun 'it' and 'their'.
