1)x-y>-2
2)x-2y<-6
or 2y-x>6
add this with 1
y>4 so least value of y is 4
put this in 1
x>y-2
x must be >2
so both are positive
so xy>0

oh yes you can..jus be careful of the signs..they screw up big time!!!
