the profit from the sale of a certain apliance increases, though not proportionally, with the number of units sold. Did the profit exceed $4 million on sales of 380,000 units.
1. the profit exceeds $2 million on sales of 200,000 units.
2. the profit exceeds $5 million on sales of 350,000 units.

Could you pls give a detailed explanation?

I think the answer is B.
Since the increase does not happen proportionally, we cannot predict or extrapolate. So the only way to figure out is to look back (so to speak).

Stmt 2 Says that Profit exceeded 5Million at 350K units => it will definetely be greater than 5Million for 380K units. Hence > 4Million for 350K units.

What is the OA?

I think the answer is B.
