Using statement 1
T1 = X/50
T2 = (530 - X)/60

T1 + T2 = 10
So X/50 + (530 - X)/60 = 10

Solve for X

Statement 2 does not tell you anything about the distances.

Hence A

Let T = total distance.

Stmt1:
x/50 + (T -x)/60 = H hours

Here H = 10, T = 530.
plugging these
x/50 + (530 -x)/60 = 10.

This is a linear equation with 1 var.
1 eqn and 1 var..so Can be solved.

sufficient.

Stmt2:

x/50 - (T-x)/60 = 4.

Still have 2 vars and 1 eqn. So insufficient

Answer is A
