Is line 1 Parallel to the y-axis ?
1) the equation of line 1 is x=4
2) the points (4,2)and (4,-5)are on the line 1.
co-ordinate geometry .

The figure above clearly shows that line 1 is parallel to y-axis; SUFFICIENT.
(2) The points (4, 2)and (4, -5)are on the line 1.
The figure above clearly shows that line 1 is parallel to y-axis; SUFFICIENT.
The correct answer is D.
