Hi Lisa,
Thank you for your regular effort on these forums helping out everyone. Reading your advice has helped me greatly along this process. A new advancement in my story prompts me to ask you again for some advice.
My company has recently taken off and acquired some venture capital. Due to this (very exciting) advancement I feel compelled to defer my admission to HSW till next year.
My questions for you:
- How do you feel my chances are of getting a deferral, given that it is a non-personal reason?
- Any tips on the best approach to explain this situation? I feel this experience will only enhance my business school experience in the future.
- Is it necessary to talk to someone (via phone or meeting) or is a letter sufficient to explain?
Thanks so much for your advice!
