MGMAT- 750
Knewton- 720
Veritas- 730
MasterGmat-720
PR- 730
Kaplan CD- 620,630,590, 650
Gmat Prep- 760, 780.

Can I go ahead and give the real thing a shot? I heard way too many stories of people alot smarter people who all studied alot longer getting nasty surprises on the real thing. (Note: With exception of gmatprep and kaplan, all the tests I took are of the free variety from each company.) Are these free tests reliable predictor. Also, I don't trust gmatprep score. I got a few repeat question from OG each test. I have ridiculous verbal score on both attempts.

Just took another Kaplan CD- 580. What the .....? Anybody have commentaries?

Forget the mock test scores for a while and think are you really prepared? Have you taken these tests in actual examination condition? Have you taken AWA also?

I have been seeing you for a while in BTG with sincere dedication to the GMAT. But the real thing is those 4 hrs at a stretch you are going to spend in GMAT. From personal experience I ran out of time in AWA which gave me a sort of mental disturbance for the following sections.

By seeing your score except Kaplan CD your score is quite consistent. But the last 580 is impossible. May be you lost your concentration in last Kaplan or may be you knew or came across most of the problems of other sources of examination.

One more thing when you see 760 , 780 in GMAT prep actually gives you boost and confidence, whereas when you see 580 it severely jeopardizes you level confidence.

By seeing your GMAT prep score I believe you should take it, however, if there is a little bit of dilemma then you should reconsider it.

I am in similar dilemma , although i havent hit so high scores in mock tests . I am a non native so i need to work on verbal part more than the quant section . You need to evaluate on the basis of split scores in V and Q . Are the scores consistent ? If you are scoring consistently in Quant and Verbal then you can be confident , you can skip one or two scores if you voilated the exam conditions . Be wary a few repeats inflate the scores.

Even i am looking for some guidance in this case .

Hard to say. I would say all these tests are different. I think MGmat and Mastergmat have really hard/wordy quant but the verbal in mgmat is a little easier than gmatprep because the SC are easier to eliminate. The splits are way less tricky. Vertias' quant is easy. I got 51. Verbal not so hot. Knewton is more balanced but I heard their CATs have screwy scores. I'm gonna go ahead and air on the safe side and say my score was too high. PR, I would say its on the easier side. I also got a 51 on PR Quant. Gmatprep, I had 2 repeat CR and 1 repeat math and 1 repeat SC. As such I also don't trust my high score. I got 45 and 47 on the verbal. I won't be able to repeat that on the real thing.

Kaplan what can I say. I can't achieve consistency with them. The math is not hard but tricky.I actually finished the latest CAT with 15 minutes left.Although I noticed that Kaplan heavily punish you for getting things wrong in the earlier questions.

I would say you are ready except that you are asking on this forum. You obviously know the material and can get through it in the time required but are you confident? You want to make sure that you don't start second guessing yourself during the exam - it will feel very difficult when you are taking it - but that is jsut the way the test is.

Take a deep breath, review the material and take the test.
