I am back !!

Hi Guys, i took GMAT in January and scored a horrible 530- Now i am again in full mood to get serious for GMAT so that i can apply for fall 2010 admissions in top universities.


When i look back on why i got 530 i think its only because i didn't have a proper plan and material to attack gmat.

Can anyone of you guys share whats the ideal plan for prep and what material is the best that i should be using.

I have

1- OG 10
2- OG 11


let me know your ideas.

There isn't a one-size-fits-all answer to this question.

Take a practice test that gives you extensive feedback on your strengths and weaknesses (so, don't take a GMATPrep test). Using the data, browse through the Resources section of this web site and figure out what would be best for you based on both your strengths and weaknesses and your learning style.

You will need to identify books that actually teach you what's on the test and how to take the test - OG10 and OG11 are great for practice problems but they won't actually teach you how to get better. So, as you're looking through the Resources section of the site, keep this in mind and look for specific books and online resources that others have used and recommend.

Kaplan is great for students aiming for 500-650. However, students trying to score higher should consider using a different source of prep such as Manhattan GMAT or PowerScore.
