Hi Stacy,

Please rate my profile. Pls let me know which b schools can I apply and be confident about getting admission.

I am interested in applying to Indian School of Business or top 15 or 20 schools in the US. Your thoughts are really appreciated. Thanks much.

- Bachelor of Commerce -> We do not have GPA in India, but I got 4th rank at University level
- Chartered Accountant from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India --> 21st rank at national level (top 0.01%)
- First rank in high school & secured medal in plus one and plus two
- Certified Information Systems Auditor
- Certified Internal Auditor

GMAT
640 (Q 46, V31) (second attempt)

Work experience:
8 years in Audit and Compliance consulting services

- Working as Senior Consultant at Deloitte & Touche LLP US from 2007 Oct. Performance rating for the year ending 2009: 2 (exceeds expectations)
- Provided compliance consulting/audit services for fortune 100 companies
- Was working at Wipro Technologies for 2.5 years prior to joining Deloitte in the US.
- Executed projects in India, UK, Nederlands, and US.

Awards at work: Best Annual performer for 2005, and Feather In My Cap award at at Wipro Technologies. One applause award at Deloitte.

Extra curricular activities:
- Board member at ASCEND leadership, Pan Asian leadership community
- Committe member for IIA conference committee
- Lead community service events hosted by Deloitte

Dear crackgmat007,

Based on the information you posted, I think it will be tough to get into a US top 20. Your education and experience are similar to a large portion of the applicant pool and your GMAT is low relative to that group. I think you can gain admission to a great business school; I just think you need to broaden your school list to schools with GMAT averages in the 600-640 range and that offer a curriculum that matches your goals.
