Just scored 200 on GMATPrep BUT...

by Alpha800 » Tue Jul 29, 2008 1:38 pm
Just for fun, I thought I would test out GMATPrep and take a practice exam by answering every one of the questions with answer/option (D). I wanted to see for myself if one could obtain a score higher than 200, and if so by how many points, if one were only to select answer (D) for all questions on the exam.

To my surprise, I scored a 200.

By choosing only D as all my answers, I correctly answered 7 out of 37 QUANT and 13 out of 41 VERBAL.

The scores were so low that I didn't even receive any percentile rankings. LOL

Anyway, this was just for fun.

Interesting...I thought of doing this today myself. I heard B and D were the most common answers. Kaplan suggested starting at D or B to check answers. I think it actually said they tend to disguise answers further down in their efforts to toughen the test.

(Disclaimer: Don't take my word on that and go about a real GMAT that way-I wont pay the $250!)
