2+2 Alternatives?

by danny_vt » Thu Apr 30, 2009 5:13 pm
I'm currently a junior at a top 10 liberal arts college interested in getting an MBA in a couple years. I'm planning on applying to HBS 2+2, and I was wondering if any similar programs exist at schools that would fit my profile? I scored a 770 on the GMAT, have around a 3.75 GPA, and am a varsity athlete with a couple other leadership roles, but my internships have not been as rigorous or impressive as I would like. Thanks for your help.

Dear Danny,

There are some other schools that offer a deferral program for college seniors. It is simply applying in your senior year and if accepted, then you have a seat in the class entering in 2 years. The HBS 2+2 program is a little more involved than a deferral program though. New programs are introduced all the time, so you might search on mba.com for similar programs or visit particular schools of interest to you to determine if a deferral option exists.

Good luck,
Lisa
