Dude that is way better than me...you are pretty good man seems like you will get around 48-51 on Quant.. I think my best is around 32 out of 40 ish in a series, so you definitely have an edge on most people. I just lack some of the math skills, you must be good on problem solving too huh? When are you taking the test? seems like your pretty darn ready.

im just taking it slow. i've taken the GRE before and scored an 800 in math, that is about 94%ile. but that was over 5 years ago
gmat verbal is all about sentence correction. and i'm getting destroyed in it. 60% accuracy doesn't bode well.
i am yet to do problem solving from OG. i spend about 4 hours every week preparing.

I think that the verbal has an equal # of questions of SC, CR, and RC, and they're all graded equally. Make sure you don't neglect the other 2 sections by focusing just on SC.qwe12 wrote: gmat verbal is all about sentence correction. and i'm getting destroyed in it. 60% accuracy doesn't bode well.

You will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day,
nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday.
A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right, but it will not come near you.

yes i think there are 16 SC, 13 CR and 12 RC questions. SC dominates. doing well in SC is key to doing well on the verbal, i think.shadowsjc wrote:I think that the verbal has an equal # of questions of SC, CR, and RC, and they're all graded equally. i'm mostly ok in the other sections, i scored a 90% in LSAT, 92%ile in SAT verbal and 85%ile in GRE verbal. 85%ile or higher in GMAT verbal is my goal!
you are a verbal champion!

i think if you took the LSAT and did well on the logical reasoning and reading comp sections, you are already 90% of the way there. in that case, i'd definitely recommend the manhattan gmat sentence correction book, as this is what helped me with SC.
and you're too kind with the compliment.. i would say i am above average at verbal and had one particularly 'good' day
