Hello Everyone!

I am postponing my GMAT from December 2011 to February of 2012. I would just like to make sure that there are no changes to the GMAT Syllabus(apart from Idiom format of Verbal that is changing???).

Can someone point out the changes, if there are any.

Thanks

Short answer: There are no changes taking place between now and February. The new GMAC Prep books likely will not even be out by then.

When the changes do take place in June of 2012, they will only be the replacement of one of the two writing samples with a new integrated reasoning section. Remember it is the Quantitative Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning that give you your 200-800 score so I would not worry about it even after June.

Here is a great discussion from the Veritas blog that should explain what you need to know. https://www.veritasprep.com/gmat/integrated-reasoning/

Let me also mention that the Sentence Correction on the verbal section IS NOT changing. The changes have already been made. The discussion of changes to sentence correction are changes that have been implemented already. Here is a discussion of that https://www.veritasprep.com/blog/2011/09 ... -old-song/
