Multiple GMAT scores

by tschuma » Tue Mar 03, 2009 3:29 pm
Just curious how schools view multiple scores? Do they take an average of the total score? Do they avg your Q and V scores or do they take your best Q and best V?

I have take the test twice. First Q42 V40, second Q40
V44. Would schools view my best score as Q42 V44?

Most schools look at the highest overall score if you've taken the GMAT twice. Some schools might begin to look at averages etc. if you've taken it more than twice, but you'd have to call the specific schools to find out their policies.

In your case, it looks like your second score is probably higher (Q40, V44), so they would look at that one only.
