How many experimental questions per exam

Hi,
I would like to know in general how many questions in the GMAT are experimental.Does the number vary from candidate to candidate and is it dependent on how the candidate is performing during the exam.Also,are there experimental questions in GMATPREP software.

Hello, Shreeraj! The GMAT exam uses experimental questions as part of building and renewing the question pool. GMAC does not disclose the number of experimental questions in the exam or how they are distributed. The number of experimental questions is pre-determined, does not vary from candidate to candidate and is not affected by your performance on the exam.

There are no experimental questions in GMATPrep or any other prep materials.
