First of all I want to thank this forum for teaching me a lot...you have been doing a great job for all GMAT aspirants and hope to continue it...
Here is a little information about me, before I proceed with my questions :
I've done my Bachelors in Electronics and Communication but however chose to follow the droves Indian IT industry.. I consider myself good in math and fairly good in verbal too (considering the GMAT verbal
)
Now, the issue what I have is, I have taken a number of GMAT tests, princeton review and GMAT preps and scored somewhere between 460 to 510 range (almost 4 PR tests and 2 Gmat preps). I have given about 3 months of preparation. I don't know what mistake I am doing or is there something wrong with me that I cannot improve my scores...am still trying to figure that out.. but on the other hand if I try to analyze the questions at leisure (without the time constraints) I am able to answer almost 95 in math and 80 percent in verbal...So my point is, its not that I don't know how to solve the problem, but my problem is to solve under timed constraints. How can I improve that? , following others suggestions to improve on this aspect I have given about 6 tests with almost the same scores. I don't want to take another test without sorting out this issue.
Next my issue is, I see that people in this forum only talk about scores (in their Mocks and in the actual exam) in the range of 650 to 780...anything less than that is considered useless....now this has started to trouble me a loooot off late...am I the only one scoring in the range of 460 to 510? while others are way above me?? Is anybody else going through the same?
Am a lot confused now I have my exam coming up in the second week of next month
...I Will be looking forward to experts reply...
