"Poor health and high stress levels diminish the productivity of today's office workers. In order to maximize profits, companies need to provide white-collar employees with free exercise facilities and free wellness classes."
In your opinion, how accurate is the view expressed above? Use reasons and/or examples from your own experience, observations, or reading to develop your position.

The issue mentioned in the passage above conveys that companies should target to improve the profits by reducing the stress level and improving the health of their white collar employees by providing them with free exercise facilities and free wellness facilities.
In today's busy computer era, each and everyone is stressed mentally rather than physically, in order to rejuvenate themselves they need to do exercises regularly. Most of us don't have time to schedule for this important activity even though we consider this to be important. So, when companies take this extra step and provide opportunities to employees with free exercise and free wellness classes regularly, then most of the employees are pulled towards these opportunities as they don't required to create one.
I am working in a technology center and our work start at 9.30am in the morning and end at 6.30pm in the evening, working all day long with computers. Our company started the program on Yoga for mind and body for a small group of people initially and now it has become a regular activity by which employees get involved and get benefited. The benefits however are not tangible enough to see in the profits immediately, but will be evolving slowly and will show a clear difference in the future. Moreover initially the attrition rate in the company was trending high in the previous years due to heavy work pressure and this has reduced considerably by 20% in the current year. The implementation of these programs have encouraged the employees to reinvent themselves and to balance the life, which is one of the factor for reduction in the attrition rate, which thereby improved the profits by reducing the training cost of new employees.
So, in my opinion, that poor health and high stress levels surely diminish the productivity levels of the employees. Hence, the companies need to provide with free exercise facilities and free wellness facilities to maximize their profits.
