is the KAPLAN practice test easier than the official prac test??

cuz i downloaded the prep-test from mba.com n got 490 at 1st tryout

n a week after i did this KAPLAN test (which is not CAT, it's linear), n got 590

writing my GMAT in 10 days..asked my supervisor for the 10 days off. not sure if i can pull it to 650.

lets do it!

You should probably consider the tests available from mba.com more reliable than the prep tests from any company; no matter how well materials are written, they are always referring back to the source material published by the GMAC, and therefore those source materials are the best indicator of how you'd score on test day. You don't mention whether you've put in enough work during the week between the tests to earn a 100 point increase, but when in doubt, you should put more emphasis on the original material. Good luck with your studying as you get closer to test day!
