Hi Ngufo ,

You are amazing ... Need some of ur positivity ...

I have been doing GMAT study since August 2008 .., Not as disciplined as u ... But have studied PR and now kaplan ... I just took PR test and only got 520 then took kaplan and had 500 score.

I wonder why needs to be put in to get thru GMAT ... I have always dreaded this test for some odd reasons... I get confused /anxious and perplexed upon seeing ques on screen and take too much time doing the questions.

Im totally frustrated that what should i do .. How should i study ... I do paper based tests and do fine.... but PC bases test make me screw up.

What i do is to jump from one book to other , from one site to other ... I am totally devasted .

Please help me how should i get on track ... I have studies PR and Kaplan and do not if i need to go thru these any differently.

Need your help... Thx

my 2 cents. Obviously depending on my supposed weakness and assuming you will spend significant time for logging errors and lessons learnt.

Buy these books

OG-11th edition
OG-Verbal
Manhattan GMAT SC
Kaplan 800

Get these from internet
Sahil's Grammar
Powerscore CR
1000SC
1000 RC
SETS (25-31)
Access to Manhattan GMAT's 6 online test

TIme 14 weeks : Hours Week days : 2 Saturday : 5 Sunday 4-5

week 1 :

Take first Manhaatan GMAT test ( 1 hr 15 minutes *2)
Analyze each weak areas in Verbal , categorize by SC, CR,RC , weak areas in Q categorize by PS and DS

Spend next 2 days mapping what can you do about improving your weak areas.

Take 1000 SC Complete 50 SC s each day for 6 consecutive day , you shud complete 300 SC's in one week. Seventh day (pref a Saturday) analyze all the mistakes done in those set of 300s, all the doubts etc.
Continue DOing this for next 2 weeks.

So at the end of 4 weeks you have 1000 SCs done and a big book ready indicating pattern of mistakes and rmedies.

10 weeks left.

5th week : get back to your PS evaluation. Pick any two weak area (Say Geometry and Number Theory). Pick OG and Solve all the Geometry and Number Theory DS/PS possible.
Alongside Pick powerscore CR ... read in a set of three chapters ( 12 useful chaptes, three bogus chapters). Start doing LSAT CR from 1000 CR

6-7-8 weeks : Bolster your Q and CR.

9 th Week: Take second Manhattan GMAT exam. Send at least 5 hrs analyzing questions in three categories Wrong , wrong by silly mistake, correct answers.
Start focusing on concepts which you got wrong. Pickup Manhattan SC Guides start 2 chapters a day along with solving from OG (pain will be parallelism and comparison chapters which has most OG questions)

10th-11th same. ( 3rd, 4th manhattan exam)
12th week . along with Manhattan 5th exam, pick 1000 RC. Do at leastt 300-400 of them. Shouls not take more than 2 weeks.

13th week: Start doing GMAT prep. Target two GMAT prep. see where you stand. Start doing Sets at least 5 q and 5 V sets can be achieved in a week.
14 th week: GMAT prep revisited. Go thru all your error logs diligently.

2 days before exam : Do nothing.
Start of 15th week: Exam.
