Review strategies for RC and CR

Do you have any tips on how to review CR and RC questions properly?

I always think that mostly I got the question wong because I didn't understand everything (I am no native English speaker) and therefore think that reviewing it can only be applied to one particular problem and I won't have any advantage for other problems through reviewing an individual one.

Do you have any suggestions?
