Are old Gmat materials good enough?

by mailingsoma » Mon Jul 16, 2012 8:00 am
Hi Friends,

I have just started my GMAT preparation and a senior friend of mine is willing to give me his set of old (4th edition ) MGMAT books at a very nominal price.
Is it okay if I prepare from old MGMAT books or do you think the latest books will be more helpful as they may have more information.

It will be a very big help if you can also suggest me some good verbal books as I need to build my SC and RC better.

Thank you guys.......
cheers

The books will not have changed that significantly; however, you will want the most up to date Official Guide books for your studying. The Manhattan SC books are pretty solid if you have that in your set.
