Is p positive?

1) The square of p is positive
2) |p| - p is positive

To find: p positive?

Statement 1:
P can be positive or negative
INSUFFICIENT

Statement 2:
|p| - p is positive..
that means the result is not "0" .. as "0" is not Positive.. So p is NOT positive.
So, P is Negative.
SUFFICIENT
