IT to MBA

by itsvijay » Fri Jan 23, 2009 3:06 am
Hi,
I am presently working in a software company as a tester.
I am looking forward to join a B School in 2010
By then, I will be having around 2.5 years work experience
I would like to change my field as early as possible.
I would like to know which are the best schools that I can aim for since my no:of yrs exp: is less.
Iam from India. I wish to come back to India, once I have got the investment put for the MBA
Iam looking for schools in Singapore, UK & US
I want to go to some of the best B-Schools; Otherwise I can wait for some more years or try for MBA in India itself

Hi Vijay,

Overall, you are (unfortunately) in one of the most competitive applicant pool - Indians with IT/Engineering background. Therefore your biggest challenge is how to best differentiate yourself. What makes you different from the thousands of Indian applicants that will apply to the same schools with similar stats?

Regards,

NP
